What is L-track?
L-track is a rail with a continuous slot. You fasten the rail to the vehicle, then slide fittings into the slot to hold, hang or strap gear. You do not remount the rail every time you change what hangs on it.
This page is a buying guide, not an install tutorial. For how the track attaches to structure in your van, follow your van maker's guidance for structural attachment.

Choosing a Venture L-track profile
Rectangle, angled, semi-circle

Where builders use L-track
Builders commonly run L-track on walls, floors, doors and cargo areas when they want hang points, tie-downs or modular mounts along a fixed rail. Those are examples of DIY jobs, not install specs.
